As the daughter of a dermatologist, I’ve been exposed to the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. I’ve learned about the importance of taking care of your skin and get facials on a monthly basis. As I’ve gotten older, some aspects of my skincare routine have changed, but others have remained the same. I find that nighttime is the best time of day to truly take care of your skin, so I thought I’d share my process.
First, I take my eye makeup off with Clinique’s gentle eye makeup remover, a product I live by and have been using since I first used eyeshadow. I then wash my face with my favorite Sadick Dermatology acne cleanser, which is super light and great for day-to-day use. Next, (and this is a fairly new step), I use my Clarisonic Mia in conjunction with a Clarisonic cleaner–I switch off between a deep pore and acne cleanser. My skin always feels so much better and cleaner afterwards, and I love seeing the resulting glow. Lastly, I apply Clinique’s moisture surge intense moisturizer to keep my skin soft throughout the night–and I always make sure to add a good coat to my neck.
