The holiday season is the best time of year to add extra special decorative items to your home. I always think of sparkles and glitter when it comes to the holidays, so finding kitsch pieces to spread in doses is something that I truly enjoy–like my new “Hollywood” Nutcracker  that is a classic holiday symbol, yet with a modern and trendy twist. I also have quite the obsession with candles, so when my mom gave me the one above covered in glitter, I was so excited. The glitter doesn’t stop here–even my poinsettias are topped with sparkles, in addition to my mini Christmas tree table-top pieces that add an element of elegance and glamour to any holiday dinner party. Tomorrow night, my family and I will decorate our 9-foot Christmas tree, but we decided to get a head start yesterday eve and began putting the lights, which is always quite the challenge. In the midst of struggling, I enjoyed indulging in a box of some of our new ornaments (we add to our collection every year), which will add the ultimate pop of color to our tree.
