The joys of the holiday season continue.  While it’s fun to indulge in Manhattan’s holiday touches, it’s also nice to make some of your own at home.  That’s what I did on my Saturday night.  No late night holiday shopping, dinners with a special someone, soirées, brisk walks, or Via Quadronno caffeine boosts.  Instead, I continued to rest at home, (cold, please go away!) added some holiday galore throughout my apartment, and set up the just-arrived Christmas Tree to decorate later in the week.

The tree has filled my home with a fresh and warm delightfulness that cannot be created at any other time of year.  My other favorite holiday scents include gingerbread, candy cane, and vanilla.  I couldn’t fall asleep last night, so I decided to light a vanilla Fresh candle while reading some magazines.

Staying inside for the past day and a half has been unlike me, yet relaxing; however, I’m ready to go outside and “play” in my city that I love more than words can describe.
