Olivia Palermo En Paris

In Celebrities on July, 10 2012

Olivia Palermo sure knows how to pull off both hard and soft ensembles, especially last week during Paris Fall 2012 Fashion Week.

The fashionista graced the front row at both Valentino (first look) and Christian Dior (second look), catching not only the attention of photographers, but those of us around the world.

I’ve always loved Olivia’s style. She’s not afraid to mix high and low pieces, wear an eclectic mix of color, play with shapes and experiment with textures.

Although the looks above are quite opposite in style, there are some elements in which she includes in both, like high heels, a thin belt, and thigh-length silhouettes. The pink ensemble makes me think of teatime at the Plaza Athenee or a romantic day-date, while the second is an edgier, yet still glamorous, take.

Below are two sets of items inspired by Olivia’s looks above, whether you want to be pretty in pink or go edgy with hints of glam.

Dress: Jack Wills, iPhone Case, Earrings: Juicy Couture, Belt: Lodis, Sunglasses: Karen Walker, Nail polish: Essie, Skirt: Topshop, Shirt: MTWTFSS

Top: Tibi, Skirt: Topshop, Polish: Butter London, Belt: Linea Pelle, Ring: Alexander McQueen, Shoes: Rebecca Minkoff, Bag: Miss Selfridge

with style,
