Sam Edelman’s TACOMA platform peep-toe is one of my favorite shoes in his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. For one, purple is my favorite color, and the thick heel and touch of leather at the back of the shoe makes for the perfect, sexy, bold, and summery combination.
Since the shoes play with different materials, I wanted to mix and match the rest of my outfit to create a cohesive look by incorporating a neon patent leather belt, a quilted handbag, hexagon sunnies and an embellished cuff. The AM rain turned into PM sun, calling for a bright splash of sunshine via classic button down.
The simplest accessory in this ensemble is my skinny belt. I wanted to add a pop of color without being overly obvious by going small in size. Although skinny belts come and go, I still like to update my selection with the hautest hues; and if it were up to me, neons would never go out of style.
No matter what your personal style may be, a skinny belt can go with just about anything, from boho-chic (belt around a maxi dress) to preppy (over a cardigan).
More warm weather and sunny days to come!
with style,
S
