Dinner at Beauty & Essex was great as always. Fabulous food, -crispy toast with mission figs and goat cheese, apple cider infused salad, parsnip ravioli, and raspberry and nutella filled donuts, just to name a few- a fun crowd, great music (Foster of the People meets mixes of old flashbacks), and the best bathroom of any restaurant in NYC ; it’s pink and full of old and cool perfume bottles, and a mini bar serving pink champagne. It’s overall an incredible experience.
I wanted to wear an outfit that looked dressed up yet was effortless and would be comfortable for indulging in food. I wore a vintage sequin top that I bought in the Hamptons last summer. I love it because it works with cocktail shorts (like I’m wearing) or leggings; it can go over-the-top dressy or casual chic. It’s also soft and thin, which I like, so I wore my Topshop [faux] fur jacket over it so I wouldn’t freeze (it did not feel like 50 degrees out!). I accessorized with black Via Spiga boots, a Chanel handbag, and an oversized silver Topshop cuff that matched with my Essie metallic silver nails perfectly.
with style,
S
