It’s such a pleasure to be guest blogging for Style Solutions. While I blog mostly about eco fashion and health on eco-chick.com, I love all different types of fashion. That’s one of the reasons I absolutely adore Fashion Week.
One of the best parts of this fall’s Fashion Week was my chance to attend Lucky Magazine’s Fashion Bloggers Conference. That was really where my week began, and then on Thursday, I of course dove in to attend Fashion’s Night Out events all over the city.
When dealing in fashion I think it’s most important to be fashionable. I love dressing up. For FNO I sported my new, bright purple B Brian Atwood pumps, bright red JBrands, and a long sleeve, light black and metallic sweater. I first headed to JCrew where I checked out Lulu Frost for JCrew jewels, and admired all of the beautiful ladies dressed up for a good night out.
Then I someone how managed to make my way through several hundreds of people gathered on each block to the Marc Jacobs store in SoHo. I actually spotted an adorable looking Dakota Fanning who was signing and posing for pictures with screaming fans. Slowly I made my way down the streets and hit up several other events like the new Marni store in SoHo. I had plans to meet Rachel Zoe at the new Intermix in the Meatpacking District, but unfortunately the lines were blocks long and after a long long night, RZ was too tired to stick around later.
I had a great FNO experience, and I can’t wait to attend shows throughout the week. Have a happy and stylish New York Fashion Week everyone!
