SYDNEY SADICK

Bohemian Rhapsody

When thinking of ‘bohemian’, long and layered necklaces, flow-y skirts, and tribal patterns may come to mind; or maybe just Queen’s genius song, Bohemian Rhapsody.  ‘Boho-chic’ is considered to be a trend which is referred to, by some, as individual, romantic, and free-spirited.  The trend is followed, and somewhat created, by many celebs like Sienna Miller and the Olsen twins, and they quite frankly pull it off well.

I’m not exactly an all around ‘boho-chic’ type girl, but I do like taking some pieces that are incorporated in the trend, and combining them with my city-girl style.  Although I like looking at boho-chic clothes on the racks in stores and on my computer screen at home, I’m more about buying boho-chic accessories.

The boho/tribal trend is a great one to follow, especially come Spring.  The colors and patterns are refreshing, and the vibe that the trend gives off is simply cool.  Rj Graziano just came out with a great 15-piece set of ‘Wrapped Bangles‘ that are so bright and colorful that I want them on my wrist now.  I first found a like for Graziano’s jewelry when I came across some chic wooden bangles in Teen Vogue Magazine.

The bangles are full of such eclectic color that -as said by Bloomingdales– they look like treasures collected on far flung travels.  Not only do I love the colors, but I also love the bangles embellished with crystals, beads, and pearls in between the bangles covered in silk.  Wear these bangles with black leggings, black peep-toe wedges, a jean jacket, a forrest-green hobo, and a crystal headband laying on your forehead (like how Nicole Richie wears hers) to top off this boho-chic yet city-girl inspired look.

The ‘Wrapped Bangles’ are available for $55 on Bloomingdales.com
