Louis Vuitton Spring 2011

In Runway on January, 12 2011

Color, glam, chic, wild, dazzle, culture, elegance, and playful are some of the words that come to mind when seeing the Louis Vuitton (LV) 2011 Spring Women’s Collection.  The runway show -led by Art Director of Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs-  took place in Paris in October with attendees such as Alexa Chung -who is very sweet in person: I met her at a Teen Vogue party last year- and Ali Hewson, the wife of Bono.   Every year I get so excited to see the new handbag designs, but now I’m getting just as excited to see LV’s clothing line too.  This year’s Spring collection -53 looks- is stunning. Metallics, bright colors, sparkles, suits, kimono-esq shirts and dresses, LV sheer leggings, rompers, sweaters, leather skirts, stripes, and animal prints are some of what you’ll see in this collection.  It was hard for me to narrow down my favorites, but here are my top 5 favorite looks from the runway show.  What do you think?

What a collection!
