Jimmy Choo Perfume

In Beauty on January, 07 2011

Jimmy Choo -known as one of the most glamorous, trendy, and expensive designer brands- has come to the world of fragrance.  I love Jimmy Choo shoes for their unique and sexy look.  You can find a classic pump, a sexy stiletto, a conservative yet colorful flat, and even a Jimmy Choo Ugg and Jimmy Choo Hunterboot: there are always lots of options.  If Tamara Mellon (Chief Creative Officer and co-founder of Jimmy Choo, the face of the Jimmy Choo perfume advertisements) used as much creativity with her shoes as with her perfume, it should definitely be on your shopping list.

Putting on perfume is one of my most important steps when getting ready: I save the best step for last.  I like to use different perfumes each season because some seasons require a heavier scent (winter) while others (summer) require a lighter scent.  The scent you wear somewhat defines you.  Perfumes can have an older scent, a younger scent, a sweeter scent, etc.  It’s about you finding your signature scent.  Making sure the perfume you wear isn’t too strong is really important: you’re not going to be able to use the coffee bean trick everywhere you go, although it is fun to do at department stores.

I’m currently using Marc Jacob’s Lola (which I love), but I still switch around to some of my others like Hermes’ Kelly, Vera Wang’s Princess, and Gucci’s Envy me-just to name a few.  Now that Jimmy Choo is coming out, I’m ready to make a transformation.  Are you?

Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo is a fruity perfume composed of green notes, tiger orchid, sweet toffee, and patchouli.  It is perfect for the girl who wants a bit of a sweeter scent, and who also considers packaging when making a purchase.  The perfume comes in a trendy pink bottle.  Tamara Mellon designed the bottle which is modern, girly, and strong.  If you’re not grabbing attention in a Jimmy Choo shoe, don’t worry, because you most definitely will with this new perfume: I have a feeling this perfume is going to be the hottest scent of 2011.  The perfume is currently sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue, and is available for $64.
