The wildlife – animal prints in particular – has definitely taken over fashion this season. Stores are full with animal print everything: clothes, shoes, jewelry, purses, scarves, and more. We see phenomenal designers like Tory Burch and Alexander McQueen (may he rest in peace) incorporating animal prints in their collections.
I am a huge fan of the animal print look – I think it’s cool, edgy, and fun. However, if you over use it, you’ll be on the out list: it’s important to have balance when wearing a print.
One of my favorite accessories are scarves (especially animal print ones). We’ve seen cheetah print scarves everywhere in brown and black tones, but how about one in a different color for some extra fun? Tolani just came out with a ‘Cheetah Scarf’ in orange, gray, and white that defines the perfect trendy scarf. It will give you’re outfit that ounce of “pop” and will work for all seasons.
Are you wondering how this scarf could work in the summer? It can. Sienna Miller used it as a baithing suit coverup by wrapping it around her waist. I love multifunctional pieces like this scarf because it can be used during the cold winter months in NYC or when I jet away to Palm Beach for winter break.
The scarf is a bit pricey, ($99) but when you compare it to a brand like McQueen, you’ll realize you’ve found yourself a deal. The ‘Cheetah Scarf’ is available on Singer22.com
