My favorite color, purple, has made a comeback this season. We witnessed this at NYFW last fall, where designers such as Prabal Gurung and Rag & Bone incorporated the hue into their spring/summer collections.

I’ve been obsessed with the color since I was a little girl (thanks, Barney) as it’s feminine and girly while bold and strong, adding an instant pop to your outfit. I love my blouse and handbag’s grape shade in particular, since it’s reminiscent of one of my favorite Essie nail polishes -play date- and looks [sugary] sweet.

Paired with a crisp pair of white jean shorts, a neutral shoe with a tint of glitter, and some white jewelry and sunnies to top if off, this outfit made for the perfect Saturday afternoon outfit.
