Dress: Topshop, Shoes: Aldo, Necklace: Wink

Last night, I hosted a dinner party at my home for my closest friends of 13 years and their parents. It was the perfect spring evening to celebrate over delicious food, stories from our childhood, and sweet fruitails, all in the presence of bright, fresh decor. My gold dining room table was accented with green napkins and candles, flower arrangements, mini candle party favors, and pins with our pictures used as seat assignments. The parents sat in tables surrounding us with a similar setup, yet green was the main color and gold was the accent (love the combo).

Most wear LBDs to a NYC dinner party, but I wanted to wear something just as bright as my party’s decor. I love this new neon lace dress that I purchased at Topshop last week. My Aldo shoes matched perfectly and have a subtle mint hue that I picked up with my necklace. Although I usually stick to my favorite Frou lipstick, this outfit required a splash of coral, the perfect hue for when you want to make a statement without looking over done.
