SYDNEY SADICK

From Snow In Style Solutions To Breakfast At Tiffany’s

In Holiday on December, 02 2011

It’s snowing in Style Solutions!  This is my second year with my favorite snow effect, and I’m absolutely obsessed with it as it brings fun holiday spirit.  I’ve been under the weather for the past couple of days– drinking tea with honey, reading a book, and watching TV episodes and movies from the 90s (total nostalgia) like Sex & The City and Serendipity have been the most “exciting” highlights of my rather ill week.  However, I suppose some down time every now and then doesn’t hurt.

While I’ve been resting, I’ve edited some of my holiday window display photos.  The city is so stunning at this time of year–it is the season when I appreciate my city most.  One of my favorite window displays this year is Tiffany’s.

For the past couple of years, Tiffany’s went safe, yet of course glamorous, with sparkly clear lights on all windows and doors.  Simplicity is nice, but the holidays is the time to go all out.  I am happy to say that this year Tiffany’s did, and the window displays are absolutely spectacular with a carousel theme.

It’s a colorful, bejeweled and beautiful fantasy that makes you feel as though you are in winter wonderland.  I love the glass peek-a-boo holes (as I call them) in the windows, especially the Tiffany’s replica with sparkly snow dust and a stunning diamond (on the lower right) with a pink diamond bow around it.

Although the merchandise in the store windows might be expensive, it doesn’t cost you one penny to look and indulge, so definitely check them out.

With all of this Tiffany’s talk, Breakfast At Tiffany’s is sounding like the perfect movie for me to rest to tonight.

with style,

S
