T-Shirt Revolution

I can’t believe I’m going to LA tomorrow!  I’ve been talking about this trip for over a month now, yet it feels like it was planned just yesterday.  I’m pretty ready in terms of packing.  My shiny black suitcase is packed to its capacity, although I do feel I’m taking just the right amount.  I packed light dresses for the day with fun sandals, chunky accessories, and my favorite shades.  For the evening, I packed cute rompers with bright pumps, fun clutches, and bold earrings.  I even made sure to pack an extra suitcase for my shopping (just in case)!

Most of my day was spent around getting ready to leave tomorrow, though I did go out for dinner this evening with some friends from Israel.  We went to Orsay, a neighborhood brasserie which I haven’t been to in years (for no reason whatsoever).  I ended up having the most delicious meal, and frankly ate much more than I wanted to since I’m going away.  I know if a meal is going to be good or not based on the bread.  The bread was sourdough (perfectly sour-I hate when sourdough isn’t sour), warm with a little melted butter; the perfect sign to a great dinner.  I started off with a watermelon and feta cheese salad (yes, not so original, but the presentation and freshness was just how I like it), and I had poached salmon with a light cucumber salad for my main course.  My healthy meal turned quite unhealthy once the side of crispy french fries arrived, and the floating island that I ate for dessert.

Luckily, I wore an outfit that didn’t show how much I ate! Cuffed skinny blue jeans, a green piped with brown and red Ella Moss sleeveless blouse, a white Topshop blazer, wedges, and a vintage green alligator purse.

As I was walking home, I got an email on my blackberry from StyleMint, the stunning and oh-so-fashionable Olsen twins’ newest venture.  I thought this would be perfect to introduce to my Style Solutions readers.  StyleMint is the twins’ new website which allows you to get styled with exclusive designer t-shirts by Mary-Kate and Ashley.  All you have to do is share your style with a fast and fun StyleProfile, view your selections to choose your top styles, and shop your favorite t-shirts (although that isn’t a requirement!).  The site is free, and all t-shirts are just $29.99 each.

If you’re an Olsen twin fan, a t-shirt lover, or just want to check out the site, do so now, and join this t-shirt revolution!
