The thought of getting out of bed at the crack of dawn the Friday morning after Turkey Day is…well…unappealing and laughable. But to your fashionable advantage, this is not the day to press snooze, as Black Friday brings the best sales of the year. Come November 23, I’ll be running to Saks Fifth Avenue for my annual shopping trip, but this year with a little advantage–a personal shopping space as I’m hunting for two very special dresses. So while I hit the department store, hopefully not running into as many crowds this way, below are some of my recommendations for Black Friday sales happening nationwide.
Saks Fifth Avenue: Run to your closest Saks ladies and gents, because you’ll be able to stock up on items for him and her for 40-50% off, and take an additional 50% off sale items. Make sure to hit the high-end sales racks, like Missoni and Jason Wu. Also, you’ll receive a $25 Saks gift card if you spend $100 or more in cosmetics or fragrances. After noon, you’ll get an additional 10% off sale merchandise if you use a Saks credit card. This is more than a double whammy.
Nordstrom: Stop by Nordstrom’s for pre-sales of the latest collections from Prada, McQueen and Michael Kors. And, you’ll be able to score clothes, shoes, and accessories galore at a price that will make you and your wallets satisfied.
H&M: Find fall fashions starting at just $5. The first 100 people in line at H&M stores will get scratch-off tickets valued up to $300.
Opening Ceremony: Score 30 to 40% off collections, including Opening Ceremony, Band of Outsiders, Juun J, Mary Katranzou, Carven, Jeremy Scott x Adidas, PushBUTTON, Goen J, and Jean Paul Gaultier. The list of brands doesn’t get better than this.
AllSaints: Shop select merchandise at 20% off, like biker boots and holiday dresses for $220. Hello holiday season!
Sephora: Shop Sephora’s $10 One Day Wonders, which include cosmetic packs from brands like Stila, Tarte, Lorac, and Buxom. You’ll have the ultimate glow.
J.Crew: Shop the entire store for half off. Yup…amazing!
Target: Receive special prices on everything, from clothes to electronics, with additional 5% off everything if you use a REDcard.
