The holiday season makes for the perfect time of year to experiment with prints and textures, as ’tis the season to also go a little over-the-top.

This outfit is my take on being holiday-chic while still comfortable for a day’s worth of running around. I tend to stay away from skirts during the winter, but I’m obsessed with the one above as it’s metallic leather and is fun to pair with different tops and accessories–layering is key. The overall color pallet of this outfit is on the neutral side, so I used this animal print scarf as an unexpected pop of color, which gave it a bright and cheerfulness while still staying true to the holiday shimmer and shine.
