Leggings are one of those wardrobe staples that I can almost always justify purchasing. Whether patterned, leather-detailed, or just classic black, I love that they’re versatile enough to wear for a casual day (like after hurricane Sandy), or with the appropriate accessories and clothes, dressy enough for a night out with friends. In this case, I added one of my favorite necklaces, which I purchased four hot summers ago in Rome, and my Celine luggage tote for pops of color.

All black is definitely a New Yorker’s uniform, but there is something about a splash of bright color that brings a dreary day from drab to fab.
