There’s nothing I like more than being in the comfort of my own home. My mom hosted a dinner for our family last night, and it felt great to catch up on both new and old stories (plus lots of laughs) over my mom’s home cooked food. The menu was quite extensive, but to much satisfaction she made two of my favorite dishes– noodle pudding and baked apples stuffed with dried fruit. I also love the way my mom decorated our dining room table. She spices it up differently for every occasion, and although mint green tends to remind me of spring, she made the refreshing napkins from Barneys New York work perfectly for fall with the help of some darker green accompaniments (mini pears and flower stems), sparkly candlesticks, silver pomegranate decorative pieces, and a metallic gold table liner.

Mom definitely knows best.
